The Fondren Library – This beautiful library is situated on the Rice University campus and is popular with students and Houstonians alike. Surrounded by the Rice University running trail, it is the perfect place to work, study, or jog.

Main Street Theatre – with year-round performances and a youth theater program, there is something for everyone at the Main Street Theater. Established in the 1970s, they aim to provide theater-goers with a wide variety of performances to choose from and you will find everything from musicals, classical theater, and family-friendly shows.

The Chocolate Bar – As the name suggests, The Chocolate bar is home to all things chocolate. Visitors will be forgiven for thinking that they have been transported into the pages of Charlie and the Chocolate Factory as they enter the door and take in the sight of the treats on offer. If you stop by on a Thursday night, you can also be treated by live music.

D’Amicos Italian Market café – Those looking for authentic Italian food will find it here. Blending traditional Sicilian food with a deli, you can enjoy eating freshly-made pasta in cozy, neighborhood surroundings.

Tiny Boxwoods Number 5 – From the charming décor to the tasty menu to the to die for chocolate chip cookies… there is a reason it is a neighborhood favorite. Great spot for breakfast, lunch, or dinner. 

Milk and Cookies – This walk-up bakery serves Tinys famous chocolate chip cookies, coffee, ice cream, and other desserts in the heart of West U.

Goode Company BBQ – this BBQ joint has been serving up award-winning meat since 1977. Brisket, Sausage, Ribs, and their pecan pie is legendary, so don’t skip dessert.
