What We Love

The Pit Room – Texas Monthly Top 50 BBQ joints in Texas… enough said! Featuring custom-built smokers and entirely homemade recipes, the food you get here will change everything you ever thought you knew about BBQ.

West Alabama Ice House – Bring your furry friends, sit outside at a picnic table, play cornhole, shoot pool and walk across the street to the taco truck serving up some pretty amazing food.

University of St Thomas – We love riding our bikes through the campus streets…it is quite simply, beautiful.

Anvil Bar – Houston favorite for craft cocktails and cool vibes. Home to a cocktail menu known as “the 100 lists”, you are sure to find a cocktail that you enjoy. If cocktails aren’t your thing, then they also serve a variety of beers and wines as well as a selection of snacks, sandwiches, and bar foods.

Space Montrose – whether you are looking for items for yourself or a gift for someone special, Space Montrose has it all. The store fully supports the ‘Made in America’ movement and showcases work by local artisans and designers.

Da Marco – Gourmet Magazine said, “This is as close to Italy as you can possibly get without leaving Texas”. Elegant atmosphere, Superb Service, and an extensive wine list.

Rothko Chapel – A non-denominational chapel in Houston, Texas, founded by John and Dominique de Menil. The interior serves not only as a chapel but also as a major work of modern art.

Menil Collection – Making great art accessible to all, the Menil Collection exhibits a captivating array of ancient and modern art that’s free for public viewing. The museum’s unique white steel exterior is a stunning work of art in itself, but inside, guests tour diverse galleries filled with everything from Byzantine-era pieces to creations by renowned modern artists such as Max Ernst and Andy Warhol. The Menil also presents new, rotating exhibitions throughout the year.
